The 2022–23 UEFA Champions League will be the 68th season of UEFA's premier club football tournament in Europe and the 31st season since the competition was renamed the Champions League. The final match will take place at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in the Istanbul, Turkey. Originally, the stadium was to host the 2020 UEFA Champions League final, but due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, Ataturk took over that final and the 2021 final. The 2022-23 UEFA Champions League winner is automatically eligible to participate in his 2023-24 UEFA Champions League group stage and is eligible to play against his 2022-23 UEFA Europa League winner in the 2023 UEFA Super Cup.
